Newbie :)
Hey all, just saying hi for my first post!
27 female from Canada, I have never travelled before but am considering leaving everything behind and going for an extended time. Not sure exactly where yet...maybe everywhere! Just in the super super early stages of planning now. I'm sure I will have a million questions but I'm very matter of fact so if I get on your nerves asking too much just tell me
-Abbey =)

WELCOME TO THE BOARDS fellow Canadian!
As you probably know... there are tons of us here. And everywhere you will ever go in the world. I think some countries must think we're all a bunch of spies.
Extended travel! That's an awesome thought, but would you be doing it solo? You might want to take a month long trip just to see how long you like to travel for.
That being said... any travel is awesome travel!

2009: Japan & HK, Southern Spain

2011: India (Goa), Jordan, Jerusalem, San Sebastian (Spain), Amsterdam (again), London, Driving from Vancouver to L.A. (stopping in Portland, Seattle, San Fran and all the little stops), Montpellier (France), Geneva and Lausanne (Switzerland)

Welcome aboard! As others have said we have TPunks everywhere really so I am sure someone will be able to give advice down the line when you've worked out where you're going.

Thank you everyone! And nope, I can not afford to travel and keep my place of residence at the same time so it is all or nothing!
To be honest, I'm a fly by the seat of my pants kinda gal anyway...while I have never travelled before I did once decide on a Friday that I wanted to move to another province and I left less than 24 hours later! I do however expect I will plan this trip a bit more than that
I have been told there are TONS of Canadians around and I believe it...almost everyone I know has travelled somewhere. Will be interesting to meet people from my city while on the road :D
