Hi crew, just came across this very lively forum, love the one about sex and backpacking!

Anyway I am a working traveller who just travels and works at the same time! Anyone else work while they are on the road?

Welcome working Nomad!!

So why don't you fill us in on exactly what types or work you do? I know that is a common question around the boards from prospective travelers. Lots of people want to know what they can do to earn some money to extend their travel. Your experiences would be welcomed.

Well I am a writer and a website publisher. I don't make a whole heap of money but I have travelled around Southeast Asia and Australia / NZ for 8 months and arrived home with more money in the bank then when I left which is awesome!

By the way I am no way involved in any get rich schemes or scams. I used to be a web designer who got tired of being bullied by bosses and working 9-5.

So I decided to do something about it and created some websites that became profitable. I then took a leap of faith and gave up my day job to go travelling last October just on my meagre earnings.

It has been a real success and I have been really lucky. Even though I consider myself a crap writer I have written for a newspaper in England and a magazine in the US recently!

Now I am planning a trip around Europe. Being a corporate slave is something I don't want to go back to!
