Happy Thanksgiving!
I just wanted to wish my online family here a Happy Thanksgiving. The fact that there is a forum like ours to discuss the absolute luxury of travel is an excellent example of how blessed we are and for how much we have to be thankful.
Enjoy the turkey and football all!

I agree... Happy Thanksgiving to all. (well at least those that celebrate)
I will say I am thankful for family, friends, and the oppurtunities that I have been afforded here in Vegas. That I may actually be able to save enough money to afford my trip across the pond. Such a wonderful thing. Hope you enjoy the holiday with whomever it is you choose.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
I'm thankful for not being more hungover than I already am.
And of course for all you people.
And for the um, nine months abroad that will be happening all too soon.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of the U.S. TPunks out there!
Just remember...calories don't exist today. Enjoy your football & food comas. (And hunting, Joker - just be careful!)

Happy Tofurky Day everyone!!!!
I cooked my first Thanksgiving meal today and Hicham ate his first! All healthy veggie stuff, all from scratch (I made tofurky kebab on tricolor couscous)! And we've watched approximately a billion movies (or three): Blades of Glory, Death Proof, and Live Free or Die Hard! Clearly TONS to be thankful for! Love you all, seriously.
Don't forget to BUY NOTHING tomorrow! :D

I ate for a solid hour, though with some pauses for conversation. I look at Thanksgiving dinner as a marathon. You start off nice and strong, taking occasional water breaks as you go, then you hit a wall. But youve got to push through that to get that wave of euphoria along with your second wind. Youve got to keep going towards the finish and just hope that you dont lose control of any bodily functions. And then finally you collapse from the effort and take a nice long nap. Awesome Thanksgiving Day to Everyone!
So here's the question: White meat or dark meat?
I like dark meat myself, piled on a plate with stuffing, mashed potatoes, and buttery rolls, and then gravy poured over everything!

I like dark meat with plenty of stuffing when I eat Turkey. Hope you all had a good day and an excellent black friday.

i dream of the day when meat won't be judged by the color of substance, but by the total and complete deliciousness of it all. I eat whatever is put in front of me. and then i ask for me. mmmm...

That's REALLY good to hear Jamie. I prefer white meat as sliced turkey & I think Mike does too. You'll get both legs for dinner! (I do use the dark meat in casseroles though - it is a little less dry the 2nd time around.)
