First time trippin'
My best friend Andrew and I are planning a mid september to mid october '07 trip to Europe. we want to visit between 5 and 8 countries. should we fly or take trains? i found a student travel site that lets you visit 8 countries and takes you back home for $1140 each. is this a good deal?
we are 23 and 25 and lookin to have a fantastic adventure. I have traveled throughout mexico and all over the U.S. but its time for the big leagues. we are leaving our girlfriends at home so we can go really crazy. if anyone would like to meet up and go see a show or play some tunes of our own (we both play) that would be awesome. our goal is to make global connections. If all else goes well we might do asia next year. all friends and advice givers please reply!!!! CHEERS!!!!

Welcome to the boards!
$1140 sounds really too good to be true for a full tour for that long. What are some of the details? Does it cover just airfare, etc.

Welcome !
Is the number of countries important? Two countries per week means you'll spend more time changing places than visiting ! Maybe have a plan B itinerary with 4 countries, in case you find out once on the road, that the fast pace is not your thing.

Would the student travel site happen to be STA?

Welcome guys! I would agree that that price seems very reasonable for that amount of countries.
Have a great trip and keep us in the loop !
