Lightbulb Needs Help Getting Out Of Us Of No A

Was born here and nothing ever seems to work for me. I can not obtain an ID no a JOB, let alone a stable place that lasts. I have jumped through these hula hoops long enough here. Yes I am American Born, and yes America is in my blood, but not by the way America treats me as a citizen. No it's not all their fault, mostly mine. Which is why the hardest descision has come. It is time and I must go. Anyone willing to make a 2008 dream come true? I very religious and spiritual, but not to go as so far to make you believe in them. If you do you do, and thats that. Yes this thread is long, this is really my first thread, and do not know exactly what I am doing here, other then looking for the HITCH HICKERS GUIDE TO THE UNIVERSE! hehehe...

Wait so let me get this straight... you're an American... but they don't treat you like a citizen and make you jump through hoops? For clarification purposes, can you explain? This doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

There are a lot of opporunities to work overseas, not a lot of them long term, and I don't know what kind of work experience you have, but there are a lot of opporunities out here, check our threads, there are a lot of links floating around there, depending on where you want to go. Teaching English somewhere is an option, especially if you're fluent in another language.

Another option is going to a university abroad (as in not jsut a 3-6 month study term, as in so 2-4 years), you have a better oppotunity for citizenship I heard.

Hope this helps.

If you're of a student age - or currently are a student of any sort under age 30 - look at options through programs like BUNAC to get a short-term working holiday in another country. These positions can sometimes turn into permanent offers, but note that in more economically "desirable" countries (like in the EU, Australia, etc.) employment visa requirements are very stringent, and you have to demonstrate skill/knowledge above & beyond to qualify.
