Also stayed in the Yellow hostel and found it stayable but not particularly great but that may be cuz its in Rome and not a small town. In terms of picpocketing, I was an almost victim on the subway as well but I had cargo shorts with zippers and tied some string from the zipper to what I had in my pocket which was a pouch of money and my passport. I will never forget the look on the girl's face when she realized that what she was trying to steal was attatched to me....it was great...sorta
