Ok, I am going to hi-jack my own thread for a moment, to address that question.
First, I teach English. And its really easy to get the jobs the requirements are that your from a native english speaking country, and they prefer that your skin tone is white, asian schools are extremely racist. Most schools just want a warm body to stand up in front of kids, do some stuff on a black board and they get a chance to take lots of pics of you which they show the students parents and they get a chunk of money for having a native english speaking program.
How do I get the jobs?
Online most always, I did start out by walk-ins to schools, I even got hired by the school thats on Khao san road, so that shows you how many people are actually paying attention to their surroundings. From the second day I arrived in Bangkok from Hong Kong, I was working, teaching English, a pair of khaki cargo pants and a nice shirt was all I needed.
Of course the usual resources..

I dont leave my contracts incomplete instead I find jobs that need ASAP teachers, they will usually pay the airfare and get you in there, most of them only have 2-3 months left on a contract that someone else left hanging so I pickup URGENT and ASAP jobs, which has made me jump all over SE Asia. Now I am planning a long term stay somewhere, I am fielding like 300 employment requests.
I have attached a taste of my inbox to show you, how many jobs all over the world you can really get teaching, I am sure some of you asking, your 19 they want a degree.

B) Its called a life experience degree, it costs about 500 bucks, but you get transcripts, a degree, letter of recommendation, and its verifiable. Which means, its as good as it gets, because I have no desire to go to school, pay 70k for a degree and then return to SE Asia to make nickel and dimes to pay off my student loans. I think not....Life long Backpacker/Bum.
