Hi to everyone out there! Before I say anything else...THIS SITE IS GREAT! Kudos to the masterminds out there who created it and to everyone who posts! 
So about me, eh? I'm Craig, 26, and from Ontario, Canada. Just recently started reading travel sites 'cause I'm going to Oz in November (so freakin' excited  ). Some sites are ok, some not, but this one just kept me comin' back!
I've done some travelling before...Germany, Mexico, UK, Sweden, US...but this is the first trip I'm taking as a holiday. Giving my notice at work soon and from there pretty much the only thing left to do is get rid of my car. Anyway, I've booked my hostel for the first couple weeks and from there I'll hit the road and see where I end up. I've got a one-year working holiday visa so I hope to stay for pretty much the whole year. On the way back to Canada gonna be making some stops in Eastern Europe. Any suggestions? Must-sees are Bulgaria and Czech Republic...after that, who knows.
Well, so much for the intro. Hope to make some posts soon...pics coming soon...as soon as I figure out how...

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I'm heading into Sydney at the end of Nov. (Nov. 25 at 10:45 p.m. to be exact...don't land until Nov. 27 at 9:30 p.m....long-ass flight!). I'll check out Sydney until Jan. and then on the Melbourne and then Adelaide....sick.

Welcome to the boards!!  Where are you from in Ontario? I'm from a real small town called Hanover...
Have an awesome time on your trip...My sister is in Oz right now, also has a one year working holiday visa. My plan is to save some money and head over in Feb/March.

I'm from Hamilton...Hanover's close to highway 6 heading towards Owen Sound, right? I think I used to pass that when I camped at Tobermory...good ol' grey county!

Mmm, I love the Mongolian Grill. My mom took me and my then boyfriend out for dinner there years ago...The relationship didn't last but...my love for the grill did!! 
And yes, Hanover is on the way towards Owen Sound...But I am not going to live there when I move back from Texas...I'm going to go somewhere else.
