Just one other thing, and I know that there's a specific room discussing it at the moment, but, there are three of us that are all thinking about doing it and all three need to get away for a while, whats your thinking on group travelling, especially it being my first?

Having done both i would say it depends on how long you will all be travelling for and how well you get along with each of them. If you don't get along famously with all of them, then there will be problems.

As far as trip duration goes, for a short trip it would be fine, just party it up with some mates and run a muck. But, for a long trip i daresay you would end up driving each other crazy and would definately have to go on your own more than once. But, as long as everyone understands that you need to travel on your own every now and again then it would be fine.

Just to clarify - solo travelling is my preference, it's the shit dude!!

Welcome bro!

If you're going on your trip just to see sites and see the ladies, maybe travel with friends *if* you get along incredibly. If you plan to do any soul searching/growing on this trip, just go by yourself bro! Nothings as incredible as the freedom you have each and every day to do what you want how you want.

But I myself am an indie traveler, and don't like groups, because other people are

No offense to "other people" who might be reading this, besides me, who consider themselves part of the others.....
