Well folks I am going to get a little sentamental so please bare with me.
I have been on these boards a long time now, and since then I have met some of the kindest, considerate, stand up folks I have ever come across. You folks take the time to help those who need it, to make people laugh, to open urselves up and ask for help when you need it.
So many of you were been there to lift my spirits when I was at my lowest point, the death of my son, and several other very emotial times in the last several months.
Your advise on this site has helped me in my travels and you have all listened to my stories with open ears. I see you watch out for each other as if you were family.
Not many places on the internet can say they have a group like this lot, to make such an effort to have meet ups, and race to you hostels to posts some new tip or story that you have come across in ur travels. This site is user friendly and just a cool place to hang out, all your doing.
You should all be proud of yourselves, cause without you, and I think that TP will agree, this site would not be what it is today.
You all rawk!!! Well done!
( ya a little dramatic i know)

Aw, CD, at the risk of sounding sappy-- we love you too!!! I never would have thought I would meet so many fantastic people "through the internet", haha. Pretty much everyone I've met so far (and plenty more that I haven't, I'm sure) has been wonderful.

You guys are all saying it well so I won't repeat it!!
I certainly haven't been here very long but I felt welcome from the start. Everyone is always on hand to answer a question or offer advice or even just to write a few words of encouragement. I hope to be able to get to know many of you further at an upcoming meet up.
Keep being so sweet!

Yeah, buddy! That's right. You Tpunks should definitely be proud of yourselves!
These boards wouldn't be the way they are if you guys didn't stick around and maintain "the vision."
By going the extra mile to help out your cyber neighbor, encouraging them, making them laugh, lifting up their spirits, empowering them with confidence, instilling fearlessnes in their decision to conquer the dreams, sharing your tips and advice, giving them a shoulder to cry on, listening to their needs, you guys maintain the vision.
Here's an example of how awesome the people on this site are!
And, CD, fo-damn-shizzle, this site would not be the same without you! Westside !

I have only been around a little over a month but you can definantly see that TP is definantly a lot different than other sites. The commrodery around here in incredible and people genuinely jumping at the chance to help one another.
CD, I did not know about your loss because I am so new but I am glad that people on here were able to help you out even a little. It is things like that, and all the little things as well, that have kept me coming back routinly since I found the site.
Hope to help add to it in my own little way over time.

I must agree... this is the coolest lot of people one could find on the internet. I know that any problem in the travel world could be solved right here on these boards.
C-Dude... you started the trend of friendly family atmosphere... the rest of us just followed your lead man.

Awww, you made me alittle misty eyed! I loved the boards and I found myself thinking "I can't wait to get back from trip so I can rate some hostels!" lol! I've learned so much and can wait until I have some knowledge I can hopefully impart.
You guys all rock and this website is the best.

This website is such a rare occurence. How many message boards can people hold a discussion on such a wide variety of issues and almost never have the discussion turn into personal attacks or insults? People show a level of respect and caring for each other that is above and beyond anything you will see anywhere else...in spite of the fact that this is a message board and can be somewhat anonymous and so usually that leads to more chaos, not less. This is truly a special place and a certain culture has developed that is truly extraordinary. I feel very luck to have been able to partake. Cheers to everyone!
