Hey, I just joined up here because I'm going on a two-month trip to Europe this summer, leaving at the end of this month. My boyfriend is coming with me (it's his first time travelling outside North America), and we'll be spending a week in each of these cities:
Paris, Nice, Florence, Barcelona, Amsterdam (maybe longer there!)
before going to the Rainbow festival in Germany. Any tips or info about travelling for that long, or to those places, would be great!

I can't wait to leave! I've travelled to England and Iceland on a tour with my band, but that was only for a week. When I saw today was May 1st, I jumped up and down for joy because we leave in thirty days!

Hi... sounds like fun. I'd actually like to spend more time in Iceland. There are a lot of packing tips on this board, including stuff like shoes, toiletries, accessories, etc. If you search around you'll find some good stuff. Actually, almost all the information you'd want as far as what to do/see in the these cities and what to pack will be scattered about.
It's funny you mention the date thing. I asked my husband if he knew what today was (Desperate Housewives   ) and he responded "May." I just about  a brick. I like squeeled miserably for about 30 seconds and he's like "What?? Oh crap honey, I'm sorry!" We leave in a month and now I'm more nervous than excited. Well, off and on.

welcome, thats sweet that you traveled out of country for your band to play music. most of my friends bands never leave the city let alone the state!
