Default My 4th tpunk anniversary !

It was the 14th indeed, of year 2003, that I joined the site ! Not long after voyd, Diorama and Canadian dude, and a little before Worldwidemike, Sijuki and Rozza. I was then planning my trip in Asia. I lured for one day and started posting on the 15th, to share my few tips about Eastern Europe.

My member number is 133, and there was only about 10 regular members on the boards, so it felt like a tiny family. And we lacked travel infos out of experience, so in order to respond to info request, we needed to search the net.

Ages ago...

Travelpunk.com has become one of the best travel sites, and certainly the friendliest and the most efficient time-quality in our answers to travellers !

Yay, atchoum! I couldn't imagine TravelPunk without you! So glad you stumbled across it four years ago...

Wow... So I joined TP when it was about a year old? Seriously?? It grew a lot in that one year, then!

What can I say, E...

You are such an amazing enlightened person and I am eternally grateful that you found TPunk and have spent a significant amount of time sharing your knowledge, helping and inspiring others, as well as all the countless backend Admin duties you've done to help keep these boards in order.

Nothing but the utmost respect for ya, babe! Love ya !

My thread was mostly a tribute to the site, the Godfather and you guys, but thanks guys for your kind words ! I'm more than happy to be a part of this community and to have some responsibilities on the boards also.

Yes Julia, it grew incredibly fast in its first year. When I left for Asia, it was November 2003 and the community was tiny. And months later, coming back from my trip, I could not recognize the site. And the community had grew so much, I felt like a stranger. You, Jake, Omid, Bri, Anthon and lots of new faces where then regulars on the boards.

Tony... my pleasure ! You know...
