I cannot believe I've only found this site a few days ago. But I travel a lot. Groups, pairs, solo, family, friends. I'm up for anything. I'm also taking off on my next big adventure next monthish - Israel, maybe a lil bit of Jordan and Sinai, but I'm mostly going to wing it once I land.
So, hullo lots and nice to meet everyone.
PS My work is now basically paying me to show up on time and spend all day looking at the T-Punk message boards now. What a life!

Hi! Thanks!
bluepea - I'm in Washington, DC right now - have been for the last handful of years. GREAT place to be for flights all around the US and internationally. Those fancy schmancy politicians need to be able to get in and out!
Sijuki - I've noticed a few posts from people who had done some extensive travel in Israel, so I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for leads. I've noticed, for me anyways, that guide books tend to try to please everyone, and instead of them helping me prioritize, I get overwhelmed!! I like individual advice waay better...

Welcome to the boards. My dad has done some extensive traveling in Isreal. That was a long time ago though but he really liked it there.
Enjoy Tpunk...We all do!

It's not supposed to rain in DC this weekend. It's kind of a suckfest now...but it should clear up! Hope you have a good time!!

What do you do in DC? I did an internship there in college and it was one of the best times of my life. I love that city.

I'm a full-time lackey at a University to pay for my grad degree. I've been here for 5 and a half years, and I'm still finding new stuff to do. It takes my mind off the fact that I can't afford to travel so much while I'm in school.
Where did you intern? It's awesome that you loved the city!! There are so many people who just get into Type-A mode as soon as they get inside the beltway and then they ignore the fact that it's an incredibly cultural, historical, alternative city as well as a political den of thieves.
