I've made quite a few posts by now I suppose - most of them questions, and more questions about Europe, so I guess I should introduce myself.
My name is Holly and I'm from Winnipeg, Canada. I'm 23 years old and going to Europe on July 30 for the 2nd time. The first time was on a 2 1/2 week high school trip to France, Italy, and Switzerland and I've been dying to go on my own for the past 6 years.
I just graduated this month from university with a business degree in marketing and human resources. But I still haven't fulfilled my dream of living at a ski resort for the winter and snowboarding everday!

Congrats on graduating, and good luck with your trip! I have a friend who plans to spend a season working at a ski resort for the winter, sounds cool.
Welcome, by the way (even though you're not exactly new!)

not to laugh but that is an EXTREMELY easy dream to fill! Why didn't you drop school for a year? IMO anytime on the mountain is time worth spending. I like your style.
Till you can hit the slopes go rent Out Cold. Cause i've lived in ski towns and they are EXACTLY like that. One bar that everyone goes too, ONE hot girl that everyone wants...lol it's a stereotype but ski towns are really drinking towns with a skiing problem... man i miss the snow....

Thanks for the great welcome!
Yeah, I went to the U of M. Do you/did you go there as well Jen? Maybe I know you!
I thought about taking a year off to work at a ski resort but then I just kept deciding to keep going, finish school, then work there after grad. The point was that if I liked it- I could stay there as long as I wanted cuz I'd already be done with school!
Anyways, I could go on and on about why I haven't yet-...but one day.....! I used to live in Whistler for the summer when I was younger while my dad would build condos out there. I loooooooove that atmosphere!!!
My sister and I going to Europe for 2 months. So excited!! -maybe I should go get that passport already on Tuesday

I'm at U of M, just finished off my BA. Most of my friends are in Commerce, so I do hang around Drake from time to time and am dragged along to every function! Small world, although with Winnipeg maybe not. Which countries are you visiting in Europe?

We're starting in Bosnia because my friend has an apartment there from when her family lived there, then we're going to Croatia, Czech Republic, maybe Hungary, Greece, Italy, France, Spain, and England.
Where did you go on your trip?

I spent this winter working for a ski resort. its the best time. the people are awsome, although there was an extreeme lack of fine woman. my staff accomidation was right beside the lifts, so i would ski all day then hike the terrain park after the last lift. ahhhhh those were the days. ski hills are always short staffed. i had a job at the first place i applied and i was only 17!
