Without a bed in San Sebastion!!!
So, its about 6pm in San Sebastion atm and i rocked into town about 3 hours ago and as foolish as it is, i didn´t book ahead for accomodation
now all the pensions are full and i have a dilemma Im thinking of buying a tent and sleeping bag and heading for a campground, but then im stuck carrying round a tent does anyone with any knowledge of Sans, have any thoughts? |
On a side note, is it possible to get Dorm rooms in spain, i hate this double/single crap
|
You could try couchsurfing.com. It probably wouldn't get you a bed for tonight since its so late but maybe it could cover you for tomorrow. Its the weekend and everything is always booked up in the weekend so it could be a good thing for you.

Well i got a bed, at 40 Euros, which hurts a touch
But its a room to myself with a double bed and two balconys, which is kinda perfect after a week campng in Pamplona |
I was in the same boat a few nights ago. Still in a daze from San Fermin with nowhere to go. I got lucky and I guy came up to me and said he had a vacancy. Unfortunately it was a queen size that cost me 50 Euros, but it was worth it for a good nights sleep. Especially since I couldn't get out of there until the following night.
Glad you didn't end up homeless either. |
i slept on the beach in san sebastian...got kicked off the park benches by the police so i had to! it was actually really comfy...just really weird because i woke up surrounded by people starting their days at the beach!
