Default Calling Cards

I am leaving tomorrow for Europe So I probably should have figured this out sooner but...Should I buy a card here or there? Which ones will work all over Europe and not just one country. I will be everywhere from London to Budapest so hopefully there is a single card I can get?

Buy a card there. There are little kiosks and calling card places (usually attached to internet cafes) all over Western Europe, and they will generally help you out with exactly what you need.

Just a quick word for the wise. The minute rating given to the phone card is assuming a home phone. If you use a pay phone expect 1000 minutes to be more like 30. In Europe they have calling centers attached to cyber cafes (in Spain they are called locutorios) which usually have decent rates (5-6 Euro cents per minute). Some people even used them in conjunction with phone cards since the local calls were cheap.
