I have posted info on a local DJ/Dance Music message board and have tons of hits. I just bought my brand new top of the line equipment 5 months ago for about $3000 and am about $500 away from paying it off completely? I got it to start doing club and mobile gigs but since I dont have or plan on getting a car it just sits in my room and I turn in on about once a week. I really am thinking about just selling it to get that much closer to my trip and when I get back (or stay in Europe LOL) and want to get back to DJing I can get gear again after I get settled down!
Any ideas or suggestions? I mean all my songs I have that I really listen to on a regular basis are on my IPod anyways. Thanks, Phat Matt |

If you arent using it, then sell it.
But if you are going to use it and you dont desperatly need the money, then i would hold on to it. |
Pionner 100s, etc...
I really dont use it much except to jack around with at home... I can fund my trip without selling but I can fund it quicker and know for a fact I would have all my money for my trip when its time if I do sell.... |
Are they CD decks or turntables?
Most of the industry are CD now anyway so if they are turntables I'd sell em & quick!!... get the money and get CD decks on your return. If they are CD decks it all depends on how much you'll get for em.. if they hold 90% of thier value i'd go for it. But if you'll loose out on loads Just open up a savings account, get a credit card and just save a bit and borrow a bit |
