Hey everyone! How's it going?
Anyway! In January I am heading to Istanbul to live and teach English for three months, so I'll probably end up renting an apartment while I'm there. After Istanbul I'm planning to head down to Syria, Jordan, Israel and Egypt, then eventually work my way across Europe. How hard is it usually to find work for a day/week/month at a hostel. I have about $12000 but I'd like to stretch my trip to about a year while slowly working my way all over Europe. Is this possibly? I hope so! Any experiences or tips for hostel work would be a blast to hear about. peace in the middle east, Richard |

Well back in APril when I decided to backpack and work Europe for a year I found that I was getting to Europe right before Oktoberfest, SO I emailed every hostel in Munich asking if they would need help, and Wombats Hostel emailed me back and said they would. I worked a month there during Okotberfest, best month of my life by far!!!!! Try to hit up a city during a big festival then contact all the hostels before you get there. Good Luck!!!!
