Hey, I'm going to San Diego, is the Banana Bungalow hostel any good? i saw that its on the beach but is it semi decent or where else would be better. also any san diego cool things to do reccomendations are appreciated.

I didn't stay at it personally but I met some people on my last trip who did. They liked it, it is close to the beach of course but also near plenty of night life. They had mentioned it to me to try to stay at but I wound up finding it was already full when I got there and went to another one, I forget the name off hand but there are two hostels in SD that are fairly close so if one is booked try the other.

i havent stayed at the san diego one but I stayed at their hostel in santa barbara and loved it.

I too have heard gooood things about the san diego one.

Yeah, I've heard nothing but great things about their LA location. Looks like a winner of a chain! (Didn't think I'd ever utter those words...)
