Hey guys, how are ya?

I was trying to look up diffirent types of hostels to stay at when I 'll be in Western Europe. Like castles, and old trains converted into hostels. I had some info on some before, but I cant find it. Does anyone know of any good links to help find these awesome places?
Thanks in advance.

P.S. sorry, but do you guys think they will cost much more than a normal hostel?

I believe castles are generally pretty expensive - my friend looked into them for a trip to Scotland and wasn't too pleased with the prices... they're mostly run by large hotel groups, from what I understand.

I know in Amsterdam, there are a couple of hostels on boats that are anchored in the canals. I think joanofarc stayed in one of those. These do cost more than regular hostels, IIRC.

There are a number of former monasterys that are now hostels. You can just do a google search for "monastery" and "hostel" and the countries you plan on visiting and I'm sure you'll find a match. The listings I've seen for these places tend to be cheaper, but I think it's because they're generally not "in town" but out a ways from city centres.
