Okay, I don't do that seven hour time difference/jet lag well at all. So, when Jake and I get to Ireland to start off our jaunt across Europe, we're planning on just booking a hotel for two nights so we can have our own shower, sleep when we want and have privacy while we adjust. We fly into Dublin, but I want to stay in Co. Louth (any city) as it appears a little cheaper, I don't care to spend much time in big/touristy cities and there's something there I want to look for. I love European hotels - the cozy ones run by a family with what looks more like an oversized house rather than sterile impersonal like Hiltons etc. I found a few for what would work out to about 70 US a night for two people en suite breakfast incl. Anyone have any suggestions for something cheaper or is this about average?
