Anybody out there have recommendations for places to stay in Venice, the tuscan region and Rome? Prices seem real high for most places, or the hostel in inaccessable. Was thinking about staying in Perugia. Cost is a factor and private rooms would be nice.

Any info is greatly appreciated.
