I'll be in Barcelona in about 3 weeks and haven't found a hostle to stay at. I'll be traveling with 5 other people. We would like to be able to find a hostle with private bathrooms and with rooms with no more than 3 people per room. Does anyone have any suggestions.

That's a pretty tall order... You might want to look into staying at a hostal (more of an informal hotel) or a pensión. Myself, I fell in love with Hôme Guest House out in the suburbs. It's a number of stops up the main metro line from the city center, but it was beautiful (incl. the bathrooms!), clean, and had a very very cool vibe to it. Not ideal for partying, though, as the last train comes back at 1am, but then again, there are night buses and if you're partying in BCN, it's an out-til-dawn affair, anyway.

Yeah I stayed there for two nights. It was pretty good, my bed had a fan over it which made the stifling heat of summer bearable, though not all beds did. No private bathrooms, but the ones they had were nice enough and the dorms consisted of four beds to a room. Unbeatable location though, right off Las Ramblas on one of the main cross streets.

Thanks, they said they had private bathrooms. Is this not true then. They told us that we would have a triple with a private bathroom. What are you thoughts.

I shouldnt have said they didnt have them, I stayed in the dorm so I obviously didnt but they probably do have them if they say they do.

theres a hostel on the beach there called sea side view or somehting like that i was there 3 weeks ago its a cool spot, or i could get you a # of the girl we rented an apartment off, its located off le rambles street which is the main street, if u needs any help while there PM me ok
