Iv left all of my planing a little late, iv got a plane ticket, backpack and a couch to sleep on in whales for 2 week before I cross the Channel...

But I plan to book hostel accomidation Very soon!

I need to know if there is a better time to arrive in new places ( the place in question is amsterdam ) eg. ( Sunday may be a very bad day to arrive, Friday is perfect time to arrive or it makes no difference dont be such a petty wanker! )
Anyway, Sorry if this question does not fall into the right catagory to be here but is stressing me a little.

Hope you can Help

Weekends will always be busier, and I mean much busier, not only will you have the weekend warriors from the UK in Amsterdam, but the lloacals are now off work and wanting to do things out in the city, I would have to say mid-week is the least busy time, but please remeber that ANYTIME you go to a tourist city like Amsterdam, it is going to be busy, vary busy everyday, but the wekend will be much more crowded!!

Thats a great quastion brotha!!! And a great start to the boards for ya!! to the family!!!

Also, regardless of the day of the week, if you're going in high season, just remember to call in advance and book. If the Internet booking engine says they are completely booked or doesn't take reservations, call directly, usually that works best.
