My girlfriend and I are searching for a cheap appartment/accomodation in downtown or riverside Chicago between August, 25 and September, 25. We tried Craigslist but couldn't find anything there. Does anyone have an idea where I should look or ask? Thanks!!

Both would be fine. We just have a smaller budget and search for something cheaper than 1,500 Dollars for those four weeks.

The trick with craigslist is to check it daily, as things in that price range are going to disappear fast!!!!!
You should also go to the online Chicago newspapers and check out there classifieds.....
You could also try listing an add yourself for what you are desiring on Craigslist... With soooo many people suffering with the Economy bullshit, you may get a taker.....
