Default Sleeping arrangements in hostels

I have a question regarding sleeping arrangements. My boyfriend is coming with me now and though we have to book separate beds, could we theoretically share the same bed? Assuming the bed is big enuff to fit both of us... I know a lot of nookie goes on in hostels so I assume this isnt an issue. I had to snag a booking in a hostel where I am in an all girls section and he is in a mixed section.. Had no choice; only one bed left in the mixed. So I just figured I could crash with him in the mixed section... Ok enuff rambling.

What happens after hours in a hostel is totally up in the air. No one will care. As long as you can squeeze into a bunk bed As long as your bed is paid for, thats all that matters.

Well I'm sure for a night or two you could sleep in seperate rooms/beds? Get a private room if sleeping together is such a big issue.

I would have thought that you might appreciate a night or two apart here and there!! I know if I'd had to share a twin bed with my boyfriend more than once, I'd have gone nuts.

When we arrived in LA, the hostel we were staying at had done our booking wrong, and they only had one dorm bed left in the whole hostel, so they actually suggested we share the bed. We did for that one night, and that was enough!
