Hey I live in NIAGARA FALLS!!!!!
Plenty of hotels for about $40 Canadian, the Transit system sucks but everything you need to see is on Clifton Hill. Their are about 50 hotel/motels in that area
Camping isn't very good because it is too far away and the costs is about the same as hotel.
Everything you need is at Clifton Hill.....The easiest thing to do is just go their and get a room because like i said everything is in the one area near Niagara Falls
The best tour is http://www.niagarafallslive.com/niagara_fa...of_the_mist.htm
Also their is a theme park their that is called Marineland which is kinda cool it is about 30 USD a person.
Good luck and if you have any questions just ask.

Excuse my ignorance in this as i am crap at geography and alot of common sense ;-)
BUT when searching for accomodation earlier I had to think about it being on the USA side, I don't know how it would would being on the canadian side. If that makes sense?
And agreee will prob hostel/hotel etc rather than camp.
cheers

the canadian side of the falls are prettier, but honestly clifton hill is quite the overpriced tourist attraction...it doesnt matter in my opinion which side you stay on..ive always stayed on the canadian but i also went there when i was either with family or when i was only 19 and wanted to drink...so i think you will be fine on the US side...you can walk over and see the falls

Not that I want to get jumped all over for this comment, but the Canadian side is a far bigger party. Fallsview casino rocks! Clifton hill is touristy but still fun. I'd go Canada side

Think we have decided on candian side,
Got usa and canada on a shoestring book has some info in it.
was thinking
www.maidofthemist.com - 14 candian$
journey behind the falls - 11 canadian$
The entrance to Journey Behind the Falls is in Table Rock House, beside the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, at 6650 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
What are peoples thoughts on getting to there from New York and from Ontario to Boston if possible.
Just need to book accomodation now planning on about 2 nights i think
Cheers for replies guys, hopefing to book niagara today.
