So it's 5 am here in Winnipeg, Canada and my dad wakes me up :blink2: and says the phone's for me- it's from Greece.

what the heck???

my poor dad was probably standing there with the phone forever while my brain tried to wake up and register what was going on.

It was this guy with this Greek accent (of course, I suppose) calling to ask where I want to be picked up from at his Pension, because the transfer is included in the price. It's in Naoussa. of course this takes me forever to understand since I'm half asleep and the name Naoussa is not registering at the moment. I don't know where I'm supposed to be picked up!!?? I'm sure I could find out because we're doing the Greek busabout (so which ferry docking then), but I do not know...I think I ended up telling him I'd get back to him with e-mail, or else I'll phone I suppose....poor guy.

but the thing is he said (I think) that his pension is not on paros island, it's in Northern Greece on the mainland, not on Paros island. Now why would I book that? does he think I'm coming from the airport then? but i booked it through travel punk hostels under "Paros" and made sure to choose the same town as the busabout pre-chosen hostel. maybe I should have just booked the busabout one now! maybe I will have too!

I suppose I'll go investigate and write another post with some more questions....

So I guess I did book the wrong spot! I'm just going assume that was my sister's hostel to book.....I think that's the one where we were looking up the Paros map cuz it said it was really far from the beach (45 km) and then we assumed that it was a misprint or something. He did end up writing me an e-mail:

looks to be the same I suppose! guess I lose my deposit and have to book another one! what if he hadn't called? I wouldn't have had a hostel then...heh. that's nice. that would have sucked!!! I'm sure the other hostels I've booked are fine so I can't believe that the one that would have messed up everything is the one that contacts me? maybe I'll get more morning wake ups in the future still though
