Hi guys. I'm going to Thailand in a couple of weeks. I'll be going to Bangkok, Chaing Mai, Koh Samui, and Phuket. Does anybody know if malaria medication is recommended for these areas? If so, is there a particular medication that is recommended? I hear Malarone (?) is good.

you'll be fine without it (probably). the mozzies in thailand are immune to most anti-malarial drugs anyway.

Hey guys. I'll probably do one of those "Hill Tribe Treks" while I'm up there (sleeping in a hut), and I plan on camping on a beach down on one of the islands. Does that change anything?
