Mine would be when I climbed Ayers Rock/Uluru. Once we reached the top and sat there watching the sun finishing its rise over the desert it was the most incredible setting and feeling.

Huangsan Mountains in China
Anyone seen Crouching Tiger? It was shot there...

Absolutely stunning. They have this place called "cloud waterfall" where clouds seem to be falling like water from one level to another.

Salut Rimbaud ! I was in Tatranska Lomnica, in the High Tatras of Slovakia. I agree, beautiful place. In late April, with snow still covering up their sommits, nice nice.

I gotta agree with the alaska bit, There is something about waking up super early brewing a cup of tea and sitting on a ridge overlooking the alaskin wilderness while the sun is rising that just makes your blood run. Its unreal, I have yet to try macchu piccu and angor wat and such though!
