I am taking a Gap year and want to travel around the world-do some volunter work, and also work in Oz and NZ. I have been researching alot of diff. tour groups, and the one that I thought was the best was Real Gap Experience. I am just wondering if this is the best comany to use or is there a better one? Any advice or info. would be great!!
Much Love!

Personally I think you'll be robbing yourself of many experiences if you use a tour group - better doing it on your own and wander off the tour map!

You mentioned a tour you liked. See where they go, pick a few places from it, and get a Lonely Planet for that region and pick some more places. Or you can go totally random, Book a flight, the first hostel, and wing it from there.
Its all up to you. No matter which you chose you will have a great time.

Your friends don't need to come along. Trust me you'll meet awesome people going solo, whether on a 'tour' or not.

If your friends are boring then drag them along until you've beat all the boredom out of them. Or go solo and find more exciting friends along the way. Life is too short, man.
