It's amazing, seemd like it was just january and I had bought my first frommers book to do research on possibly traveling to Europe, then I remember waking up one day realizing that less days were remaining until the start of my trip then days I'd actually be gone. And now here I am, a week from right now I'll be in the air on my way from Syracuse to JFK in NY, and a week from tonight I leave for Europe. it has all happened in such a whirl wind, as any dream does i S'pose. With a week to go i am a little nervous but that is drowned out by the excitement. I hope things go well for me In London, Belgium, Germany, Czech, and Holland. Navigating through countries where I do not speak the language will be a challange, no matter how prevelent English is. But this is a challenge I embrace. After financing I figure I am going to be able to spend 45-50 Euro's a day (50-55$) which is a bit lower than I had anticipated...Most hostels run 15-20 Euros leaving me 25-30. I figure 10 on transportation and I am left with 15-20 for food and beer.....Well, looks like i'll be eating cheap, 'cuz I loooooveeee the beer. But with all the walking I am going to do I probably was not going to be sitting down to large porshins anyway (which is good, i could lose a few!) Divided all my meds and extra supplies today and combined them with my clothes in my pack. It is a bit heavy and crammed but I need all the stuff. So I guess these are all common concens. I hope I am ready and think I will be. To think a week from tommorow I wake up in London, 2 weeks from tommorow some place in Belgium, 3 Germany, 4 the Czech and so on and so forth wow....sorry 'bout the rant I'm just in this fantastic daze of realization. My moment is almost here. 1 week.
