Getting nervous....Backpack CHECK, Plain ticket CHECK, Euro Rail Pass (15 day, 2 month, 17 countries)Hurt when i put it on the credit card, cause I was hoping to use that money for travel funds, but need to get around) Bleeding from behind but got my Eurorail pass,CHECK, Payed off rent and Loan payments for the summer while im gone CHECK, Got the loan approved for $2k with Misc $1K in accout to total $3K for 2 months, CHECK, Made hostel reservation... UNCHECK, where im going to go... I HAVE NO FRICKEN CLUE!!!! Ok, so i have been an avid reader of Travelpunk.com, and met alot of friendly people, Tecia , and out of all the threats, the common theme is DONT PLAN ANYTHING, take what comes your way. But im a little nervous. I fly into Heathrow June 3rd, and going to visit London for a couple of days (need a good, possibly cheap as well, hostel to reserve btw. ) then going to Scotland to visit some friends staying there, then going to Hungary to visit another friend, but by the 3-4th week in June, I dont have anything lined up.

I guess any advice would be good advice. Im trying to meet up with other friends over thier, but were trying to get together while using email. Does anyone have a better option of two groups trying to hook up in Europe besides over Email, i think its pointless to try to find a spot to get together over email. but i could be wrong. And is $3000 enough money for 2 months? IM a little worried ill be broke in Belgium, without anyway to get home... haha.

I guess I would Say im just getting cold feet, that is all. I have never done something quiet this crazy EVER! and to think, in 2 weeks from tomorrow, ill be a tourist.. haha. Ill keep my face glued to the boards over the next couple of weeks for any remaining knowledge i can get.

And again, any advice, personal experience, telling me to STFU and just relax would be welcome

I think you will be OK with that much money as long as you remember that it comes out to about $50 per day, so don't go nuts with the shopping!

I think email probably is the best way to communicate. I tried once to do this message service thing and it entirely did not work. There are a ton of internet cafes, so email is easy to do. You can also rent a cell phone if you are willing to pay for the convenience.

Try to turn your anxiety into excitement for now. Everything will work out once you get there and you will forget that you were ever nervous to begin with!

have a good trip!
