I am looking at taking the trans siberian train from Moscow to Beijing. I have no idea how and dont want to book through expensive tours. Please if anyone has done this before please help!
You can absolutely do it without an expensive tour. We have a thread you can find here where we were discussing the TSRR. Two books you can check out are Lonely Planet's Transsiberian Guide and the Transsiberian Handbook, which is supposed to be updated yearly.
