Do they use the same types of batteries in Europe as they do in America?

Also, I was looking at Electrical Power Adapters/Converters online for US to European power and I was a lil lost ... does the UK use different power outlets than the rest of the EU?

to the family Wandering Soul!!!!!

For the record, you question is a great one!!!

Yes most batteries are the same, AA, AAA, D...etc, etc...

When it comes to cell phone and camera/video camera batteries, you may want to contact the company who made it to find out what happens if your battery goes tits up while your away.

Here is a site for Travel Adaptors you might find what your looking for there, you might just need one converter, or a few for different countries, here is a List of Voltage for the world

Should help a bit!

Thanks a lot CD!

I have yet to make it out of the USofA and was quite unsure about the whole batteries thing.

As far as the converters/adapters, thanks, those pages help a lot.
