Trying to figure out where to fly into? Coming from Texas directly to Europe and have looked into Frankfurt,Paris, and Gatwick. Just wondering what some of you would recommend.

It really depends where you want to go, as each is a pretty big hub. What you should do is check out a site like whichbudget.com.

Look at the list of airlines and you can see who services which airports, and just as important, where they go. I've planned out two trips simply by seeing where I can fly into the cheapest and what my options were from each point.

I agree...plus, wherever you get a great deal. When I went to Barcelona this March, I flew through London. I came in on Virgin Atlantic ($99 each way!), then switched airports to use easyjet's cheap fares to Barcelona. It was worth the hassle of switching airports to take advantage of the cheap fares. I saved several hundred dollars, IMO...
