ANOTHER return by elixir!

long story short- my boss lied to us about the business, so my buddy and i ar leaving a few days after christmas to travel around, stay at my bros for a while in washington state then go to my friend eddies in california. just going to be moving around and having fun.

anywho, id appreciate it if you guys and gals could give me some last minute tips or advice or words of encouragement (especially those!) based on the following information.

1. two stunning 20 year old boys
2. very little money
3. unlimited time frame
4. based in the USA

thanks again everyone for your help in the past, and il be sure to post up as frequently as i can information about my adventure, and if i can il visit those of you wanting to, well, visit (or give me a place to stay for a night, teehee)!!

One word: Greyhound.

I won't lie, it really sucks and you feel well.....I don't know how you'll feel but with very little money, you can't do much cheaper.

You'll have LOTS of good stories to tell afterwards though, believe me.

hey, what part of Washington? KCL, SD, The Monsignor and I are in the western half of the state. If you're going to be around this area we should have a meet-up. If you're going to be on the Eastern side of the Cascades, maybe not...

Better word - Hitchhike

Don't snear. Hitching is my prefered method of travel when I am carless. It is cheap - being free - Generally easy if you follow simple hitching principals. And you meet some Awesome people along the way.

That's my two bits. Hitch it up and you'll have an amazing time.

hitching principals...like going down on the driver?

George Carlin said it in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, so it must be true...

Amtrak is another good (cheap) option for travel between major cities - trains are always late and take forever and ever but they also show you some of the most beautiful vistas you can imagine...the tracks always go through areas way off the beaten path, and I've never had a trip on Amtrak where I didn't meet tons of really awesome and interesting people!
