I am getting ready for my first trip to Europe for 6 weeks, and was wondering if a sleeping bag is worth taking on the trip?

If you're staying in hostels, one of those sleep sack jobbies that the hosteling organizations recommend would be fine. Plus, it'll take up less room in your pack than a sleeping bag...
