Hi, I'm leaving for somewhere in Europe in a month or two, all I want to do is bum around doing feck all for as long as possible. But I'm usless at making plans and sticking to them.

The only city I really want to see is Amsterdam, I hear it's full of whores and I'm a keen Prostitute enthusiast. really I'd be going to the smoking meka.

I have to visit family in the south of Spain so I guess I'd be starting out from there and working off from there. I'm thinking of spending most my time in eastern Europe because it's dirt cheap and everyone says the women there are gorgeous.

I don't know how interested I am in touristy type things but I'm thinking I should see as much as I can while I can. Should I really make a plan before going or can I wing it?

I'll have €10,000, and I'm Irish so I don't have any paperwork to deal with, how many months will I get out of that do ye think? I want to be gone as long as possible.

It really depends on how frugle you can be. I mean, if ure the type who wants a decent hotel, go to see couple sights, eat out at restaurants etc, that's a helluva lot more than if u were going to eat a loaf of bread a week, camp out/stay at hostels or hell even sleep in airports...........and it also depends on how much jumping around (travelling) you wish to do.......and at the very least you could probably even earn more if you REALLY want to stay away for as long as possible

I think you'll be fine as long as you stick to a strict budget.

Well, if you go for about 70 euros a day(incl. hostel, meals, bars, getting around) then you'd have 143 days! But, you'll probobly have more then that, because you probobly wont spend that much everyday.

140 days not to bad. I'll try and be as tight with money as I can in western Europe so that I have plenty for the east. As long as I don't bring my ATM with me drinking I'll be fine.

That Interrail site is a pain I can't buy online, it says I'd have to go to ether Dublin or Cork to buy the ticket. €400 for 1 month global pass doesn't seem to bad tough.

What's it like traveling around the south of Spain? My mother lives there now in Alacante and I could use her house as a base for a while if there's anything to see in the area. I would like to see a bullfight.

Is it better to start with the more expensive western European countrys and move onto the cheaper eastern countrys?
