Just need to ask a few questions ....
Whats the best way to get around europe?? because im from britain i dont qualify for the eurail pass so was wondering if there was a cheaper alternative?im planning on flying between 1 or 2 countries during my trip with easyjet because its so cheap.
Also are there any countries/cities anyone recommends? so far the plan is to fly into

Germany(Berlin)__Poland(Krakow)__Czech Rep(prague)__Austria(Vienna)__Italy(Rome, Venice,Florence, Milan)__Spain(Barcelona, Madrid) (train, bus, fly?)

this is only my plans for a month but 2 months isnt out of the question yet( is it possible??)

I think i have enough already but just in case , how much money should i take??im gona b staying in hostels and am on a budget.
Sorry about the long post but any info or tips would be brilliant.
THANX.

Well first of all WELCOME! always glad to have another Punker.

As for travelling around Europe without a Eurorail pass trains can be pretty expensive, I flew Ryan Air out of England all summer and found that to be really cheap if you keep an eye out for the crazy deals. Perhaps look into buses, they'll take much longer but in the end if money is tight they will be the cheapest (well other than hitchhiking)

Also if you're going with friends perhaps consider flying somewhere in the middle of Europe and renting a car from there... if you have 2 or 3 friends that could make it pretty cheap.

They have Eurail for Brits too! It's just called InterRail!

Interrail rules all over eurail. Its much cheaper, works in more countries and has less limitations. I'm going to wait until I qualify as a resident (6months) until I do some serious travelling so I can use Interrail.
