Ramblin Colt

I've decided before I travel anywhere else, I should explore my own backyard (United States) first. I'm going to hitch all over the country. A lot of people have discouraged me and said it's unsafe, but I say that's part of what makes it an adventure. Any tips anyone may have for me would be greatly appreciated. I've been reading these forums for a while now, this is my first time posting, and I'd like to thank everyone for everything. Especially those who ask questions, because without questions, there would be no answers. Cheers.

My advice on that one is to check out the laws about hitchhiking, it is illegal in some states and def be careful! Where you from, where you been? I know some good places on the east coast!

I think your plan is an excellent idea, what better way to see you own country than to htch across it and meet alot of frik'n people on the way.

I've done a bit of hitch hiking, none here at home...all of it was in Europe.

Just make sure you're careful who you get into a car/truck/shaggin' waggin'/van with. If the person who pulls over gives you a bad vibe just turn them down.
