It's not so much my first time travelling as my first time travelling by myself, with no clear plan of what I'm doing, omg*insertpanicherekthnx*. If that makes any sense. :D
I'm 19, from England, just quit my job [though that's been led up to since I started working there >_<], and booked my one-way to Venice. I can't decide whether to get an Inter-rail pass or not: buying the pass would give me
some structure in travelling [currently I have none at ALL] but I'm not sure how confident I am in battling train systems, considering how bad they suck at home.
The vague plan [why am I telling you this? So you can give me some suggestions, I guess] is to wander down through Italy, to Greece, and maybe see if there's come work for the rest of the season. If that doesn't pan out, I'd probably come back up through Italy, then through France and home.
I have like, no money other than what I'll be paid at the end of this month, which isn't much to write home about [£500, or nearish $900], but money doesn't concern me. These things have a habit of working out.
So, bascialyl... I'm freaking out here, and I have a month to get my head together. *breathes into a paper bag* Anyone got any ideas? Or Valium?
