I'm about to go to US for 15 months, 12 of them i'm working for my uni degree. but i also have 3 months,: july, august and september 2005 when i'm free to do what i want and go where i want. i am covered by a visa for the time. does anyone have recommendations for highlughts to see in that time? or does anyone want to come with me?!!!!!?? totally thinking in advance here, but i dont want to waste those 3mtyhs so i'm planning now.

Cheers!

Kev p.s. if there's any people from Long Island or who know anythin about Long Island would be cool to hear from u.

If you love the city, you have to check out New York, just to say that you've been there. It's totally humbling being there because the city is just SOOO huge. If you're an outdoorsy person, then yeah I would also say to definitely make the trek to the grand canyon, but there's also so many places that you can go see...it really depends where you're staying (the US is a fairly big country) check out with the locals where the hot-spots are around where you're staying. I'm sure you'll have quite the experience!
