playing the waiting game
So I ordered my week pass from Die Bahn so I can drift aimlessly across Germany so now I am waiting on the ticket. I am going to write about my experiences.
I still have 4 days of work to get through and 6 days before my trip.
Is it just me or the shorter the time the longer the wait feels!?

there's always something on the horizon for me...even if it's a long ways off. I've already decided that I want to go to bolivia summer '09 then road trip CAN (and I mean ALL of Can...every single territory/province) hopefully summer '10 when I graduate

Sounds like an altiplano to me! Although I would pick Paraguay based on my gut feel that there is more to see...of course that asuncion could be wrong.

well actually I picked bolivia because of this great wildlife volunteer refuge program they have there where you only have to pay for living expenses (which are apparently only around 250/month (hell yes!)), and I've always wanted to live in a rainforest...plus I want to go see that jail where the families go & live with the prisoners & the large salt dunes seem pretty cool too. Initially though, it's all about the refuge. I want to walk a puma every day!
& yeah you're coming w/ me on the road trip teri! wahoo!

Yeah, deffinitely go to Bolivia instead of Paraguay. Actually, I will come off as a presumptuous Argentinian... but I don't really think there's a whole lot to do in Paraguay (there, I said it, sorry).
Bolivia has the "salar de Uyuni", my friends have been there and absolutely loved it. Of course if you're gonna be over there you might as well check out the north of Argentina while you're at it :D
