I have a friend that died no more than 2 months ago (O.D) Did I feel pity? No he was stupid for doing such.
If I died in middle of the road cause I hit my head because I was skating, would I feel pity for myself or would I even dare wish someone else felt pity cause of my death?
NO!
Why? Because I was not being safe.
If you are looking for it I have no reason why I should shed an emotion towards your luck.
Now as for his family yes I feel pity. But wait why do I feel pity for them and not for the family the kids that lost thier parents cause of X illness? Oh yeah they were not in the papers. Therefore I must write in a forum about how sad I feel, cause that will make things better?

It was a freak accident, obviously his chances of getting killed by a stingray were more than the average joe. But its still insanely unlucky to get hit right in the heart, he would have been fine otherwise, something like 17 recorded deaths from stingrays....thats not many. I have been stung by a ray on the foot, it hurts like hell but, in the heart? ouch.
