Long Way Down screening, July 31!

There was a thread a while back about Long Way Round (Ewan McGregor and Charlie Broomeran's motorcycle trip from London heading eastward across Europe, Asia, and then North America).

They've followed it up now with a trip from Scotland southwards to South Africa. I saw a promo for this before a movie last week, the film will be in theaters on July 31st only at 7:30pm throughout the United States. The selection of theaters seems decent, there are 3 showing it in Austin.

I don't know if there will be releases elsewhere in the world, but it will be on National Geographic Channel so keep an eye out there too!

Yeah it's been out for awhile now. I know it's already aired on the BBC in London cause that's where my pirated copy is from..

the dvd has been out for some time, so has the book. i dont think it has screened on tv in australia yet either.


AWESOME series! we brought both long way series on DVD and watched them back to back for 2 and a half days lol. we didnt leave the couch. super awesomeness.

It looks like the screening is for a directors cut 2 hour version. Should be interesting to see what they cut and what they leave. I wouldn't mind if Brooke came out with a special directors cut Map for Saturday!!!
