Default 4-6 Week Spanish Language Program in South America

not sure if this is the right forum for this, but it seems to be the most visited, so....

if you could take a month/two month long spanish program somewhere in south america, where would you go?

considerations:

- location --> not looking to take classes in a huge city like BA or rio, but would prefer being in a big enough town to where there will be younger people doing similar things (classes, traveling, etc)

- flexibility --> i've got a pretty firm time frame of early-mid october up until thanksgiving. not at all concerned about getting actual college credit or anything like that, but would like to be able to improve my spanish while also enjoying myself, traveling around, etc

nightlife --> learning spanish and outdoor/adventure activities are probably top 2 on my priority list, but nightlife is a pretty close 3rd. not looking to party everynight, but would definitely like to spend a lot of my time in fun areas

a buddy of mine spent a few months in bariloche using a company called patagoniaspanish.com to handle his schooling. set him up with a host family etc.

am considering doing that, but was already in bariloche for a few days in march. still pretty high on my list as there are tons of travelers, flexible language programs and a bunch of outdoor stuff to do.

other place i was looking at was ushuaia. same language program runs 2 and 4 week courses down there. being in tierra del fuego would obviously be incredible, but the place seems incredibly remote and i'm not sure spending that much time down there would be worth it -- anyone spent time down there???

thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions anyone might have. and i'm not dead-set on argentina by any stretch of the imagination. just happens to be where most of the ideas have come from thus far.
