Well guys, I've come to a decision. I'm talking to the Big Boss tomorrow and telling him that I'm planning to give notice with Julie on Friday. He's going to freak out and will not want me to leave, but unless he can find me a different position on the property here or at a different property within our management company, well-- I'm in the wind. I'm not going to put a time limit on the notice (yet) and there are a few other opportunities I have my eye on. But let me put it this way: She's not even in the STATE and she's still making things intolerable.
I'm a bit scared but at the same time I know this is the right decision. Things can't continue this way or I'm seriously going to lose it and say something to get my ass fired.

I think your doing the right thing. Having problems at work is the worst feeling in the world and you shouldn't have to feel like this. Considering that we spend half our life working (or so it seems)...happiness is key, even if it means being broke ass for awhile.
I also have a FUCKIN BITCH boss at my hotel. What's up with these biatches in big chain hotels. We had a meeting a few weeks ago and after expressing my point of view, she called me bitter. fuckin rights!...

Ha! You, bitter? Whatever.
Well, I certainly don't want to count my chickens, but there's a possibility that I may be able to transfer into a different department. I'd be working some nights and some weekends as the "Guest Services Manager", but I wouldn't have to deal with Julie Horrible and I'd be able to keep my benefits including the paid time off I've accrued so far. And my boss would be someone that I know I can deal with (he's quite reasonable). And--as far as I'm concerned, the biggest benefit-- I wouldn't have a nasty little hoppity-hop-around on my resume.

Gah.. I got so pissed off all day I almost walked out today and I actually love my job. So I can't imagine stringing together that many days of hating your boss. You surely have a strength others don't. For that I say: bravo If you've been able to stick it out so far, keep at it until you can line up the perfect situation. That way you can look back at your current spot and laugh.

Argh, it's making me so frustrated. I walked into work this morning to see another one of my co-workers hashing it out with our shitty supervisor...Yeah, hopefully I can survive long enough to pay my first year of school and off I go.
We should start up a T-Punk company and make ourselves our own jobs...

Okay guys, here's a brief rundown.
I let 'er rip with the GM-- Big Boss of the Hotel-- regarding how I felt about, well, everything. The three of us (bitch boss, GM and I) then had a meeting the next day and we came to the conclusion that my time in the Sales & Catering Coordinator position is coming to a close. She wasn't altogether completely honest (as I told Dave she wouldn't be, har) but what can I do-- her vs. me. I'm staying in the position until I get something else either within the hotel, within the ownership company or on my own. It's kind of a weird situation and honestly, if I wasn't already on great terms with the GM-- meaning I've worked with him before and we're friends anyway, so he has a great deal of trust in me-- my ass would have probably been in a sling and fired on the spot, regardless of how unfair.
I currently have a couple of other irons in the fire in regards to a position on the property and a few other VERY high-paying positions outside of the hotel. We'll see what pops. In the mean time, regarding the photo issue, she *did* apologize-- but only after I really threw a fit (in my own way) about it. Updates to follow as the situation progresses...
