Chinese bureaucracy
getting really sick in China
crossing the road in a busy Chinese street during rush hour with no traffic lights and cross walks-its a like a giant game of frogger but with no redo.
Getting lost as a child in France and having to ride in a Police station-actually that part was really cool.
Sleeping on a bench in a Belgian rail shack
Missing the last train in Paris and having to get a ride home from a stranger who worked at the station.

...a day with no water below sea level in the Israeli desert near the Dead Sea (and no, you can't drink THAT water!).
...hitch-hiking in El Salvador, and being picked up by a guy with a loaded shotgun.
...getting drunk in an "off limits" bar while in the military in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
