Well, this be the update on my current condition. I'm currently sitting on my folks' couch surfing the innerweb in between passing out due to the drug cocktail coursing through my veins. Somewhere amongst the normal amount of drugs, there's a heightened amount of either dilaudid, sedatives, percocets, and/or vicodins. No worries, folks, its' all doctors orders... really this time!
My discombubulated shoulder aside, here's the skinny on the whole day's adventures. I'm hoping I can stay conscience long enough to get a complete thought out.
Sunday evening my shoulder popped. Its all been well-documented on my blog. There's a link in the profile I believe for those of you interested. I'm gonna see if I can photo the MRI's or Xrays for posterity's sake...
Woke up early this AM to go to church. A little too early. Went back to sleep, and when the alarm went off i reached across and this time severely dislocated my shoulder. So bad i called 911 and took a little ride...
Few things:
1. There is a shortage of hot nurses. But the one that did my IV's... @40 and smoking hot.... Dad thought so, too.
2. Dilaudid (sic?) is the SHIT! Within seconds i was tripping. I still hurt like hell, but i didnt care. Of course, HST was being quoted... "Buy the ticket, take the ride." "Devil Ether!"
3. They knocked me out with IV sedative to reset the joint. I didn't feel a thing but accdng to dad, it took them a lotta effort.
4. Surgery is almost 100% going to happen. When is the question. Appt tomorrow at 8:45 am to discuss.
5. Active cooking on the line on indefinite hiatus. Can't swing a pan properly. Cant swing a pan properly, then need to pursue new career path I guess
for at least the foreseeable future.
6. Until further notice, in a sling....
All in all... bummer. Carry on, Punks!
